In the European feed-food market, health aspects of food from animal origin, ensuring animal health and welfare and sustainability, are becoming increasingly important. Companies in the feed chain put major efforts in e.g. reducing the use of antibiotics by development of natural alternatives, a strict quality assurance of the feed chain and an optimal efficient and sustainable use of ingredients.

Our core research and development activities in the European feed-food chain are performed for companies active in the following segments: ingredient suppliers, additive industry, veterinary industry and feed manufacturers. In specific projects, Feed Innovation Services also works closely together with governmental institutions, big farms, slaughter houses and the food processing industry.

Feed experiments are carried out on our experimental feed research facilities for pigs, poultry and dairy cows.
